Escape Games

An escape game is usually a point and click online game, where you find yourself trapped somewhere. Using the mouse as your main controller you interact with the elements around you in the room, gather data and tools to help you solve the puzzles and riddles. With each one of those you come closer and closer, finding more and more clues that will lead you, eventually, to the key to escape that room. Sometimes you have a specific time to finish the game in. This makes it even more competing. Each game has its own story line. One time you might find yourself locked in a room, or a boat, or even a spaceship. Other time you mind be lost in the woods or kidnapped by a mad scientists and jailed in a cell. Some games have more than one episode, where the story continues in the next game.

The riddles and puzzle vary from game to game. Some are very easy and clear, and some might need a search in wikipedia or a calculator!  The escape games in general are challenging. They make you use your mind and think out of the box and be creative about they way you will escape.

One of the best escape games sites is www.EscapeThis.Net. It is up to date with all the escape games. Recently the site was upgraded with a new design that makes it very clear and friendly to surf. The website focuses on the escape games but it also contains other kind of games, like action, strategy, adventure, kids, cards, misc and more. All the games are carefully chosen to suit all the ages.
